2010 Camp Registration
If
your child(ren) crave fun filled, adventure and creative play, the
Maple Hill Summer Camp program is just for them! Maple Hill's
day camps are designed to engage and intrigue children from age
1.5 years to 10 years in full and part time day camp experiences.
For 2010, Maple
Hill is offering full and half day camps that run from July 7 to
August 27 inclusive. Our
daily schedule runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended care available
as needed. This year's
full and partial week programs offer a range of activities in three
specialized camps:
- Junior
Camp for children 18 months to 3 years
Theme-based creative play and lifestyle activities that focus
on the needs of our youngest campers, with nurturing, consistent
care.
- Outward
Bound theme camp for 4 to 6 year old campers
Twelve theme camps featuring
creative and active play to engage and delight children all summer
long!
- True
Life Adventures theme camp for 7 to 10 year old campers
Older campers enjoy true life adventures in camps with themes
that respond to growing interests in the arts, science, cooking
and more!

Program
Details
Junior
Camp (18 month to 3 year old campers)
Junior Camp offers gentle adventure and creative/lifestyle activities
designed for the specific needs of young children. We focus on different,
age appropriate theme each day of the week. Consistency is the mainstay
of this program. The daily schedule includes:
- 9:00: the day begins with theme based activities
followed by morning snack
- 10:15: outdoor sensorial exploration and water
play (weather permitting)
- 11:30: lunch
- 12:00: nap/quiet play time and snack
- 2:15-4:00: creative experiences.
Outward Bound Camp
(campers aged 4 to 6 years)
Outward
Bound campers engage in creative play in theme based camps that
cater to their areas of interest and intrigue. Outward Bound camps
encourage growing campers to follow their scientific, athletic and
creative passions in our twelve different themes camp selections-
each of which is designed to delight, excite and entertain. Our
daily schedule features morning theme based activities, followed
by lunch with games and contests and creative activities in the
afternoon.
True Life Adventures (campers
aged 7 to 10 years)
Summer is a time for laughter,
fun and friendships. Our True Life Adventure camps offer this -
and a bit of education too! Maple Hill's True Life Adventure camps
provide stimulating play and essential activities to help your camper
make the most out of his or her summer, with theme-based activities
that engage and respond to growing interests in science, sports
and the arts. Chef camp, "Gogh Picasso Gogh," "Lab
Rat Science" and more! Let your child indulge his or her interests
with others who enjoy the same pursuits. The daily program includes
morning activities, games and contests followed by creative play
in the afternoon with special 'guests,' neighbourhood tours and
trips.
Our Staff
Maple Hill's summer day camp staff
include many of our skilled teaching staff who are highly qualified
not only as educators, but as people who understand what children
need - in and out of the school year. Our summer day camp team is
ready to play with your child, but also to ensure their safety and
complete enjoyment of our summer camp programs.
Rates
Maple Hill offers truly competitive
day camp rates with added incentives when you sign up more than
one child in a weekly program. For short weeks, we pro-rate camp
costs.
Junior Camp:
$130 per child/per week or $115 per child/per week with more than
one camper
Outward Bound and True Life Adventures
Camps (for ages 4 to 10 years):
$150 per child/per week or $130 per child/per week with more than
one camper
Chef Camp (ages 4 to 10 years): $200
per child/per week (includes materials)
