Maple Hill Montessori School is Barrie's premier
Montessori school and day care facility. Since 2000, Maple
Hill has worked with more than 1,200 children and their families,
providing a sound Montessori education background and a loving,
nurturing environment for their early development.

For the
2011 - 2012 academic year Maple Hill is offering a fully licensed
daycare for more than 50 students (18 months to 2.5 years old),
in addition to classes for casa and elementary age children. Combining
the essential features of the Ontario curriculum with the proven
Montessori approach to early education, Maple Hill serves Barrie
families from two convenient locations at:
- 147 Toronto Street (downtown) and
- 767 Huronia Road (Barrie south).
A Traditional Montessori Education
Maple Hill offers a traditional Montessori education in a truly
unique environment. Our two locations operate in a small and initimate
environment under the care of a skilled
and passionate team of qualified instructors.
Nurturing a love of learning
With
a structured program and low child/teacher ratio (8:1) Maple Hill
students develop at their own pace in a non-competitive learning
environment. Maple Hill students enjoy a progressive activities
that engages young brains and growing bodies with:
- pre-school day care programs
- primary and elementary education (Montessori
and Ontario curriculum)
- enrichment in fine arts, conversational French
and music
- school community activities (landscaping days,
toboggathon and more)
- field trips and presentations
-
before and after school care.
